About the Chef - Dayne Tanabe
Born and raised on Oahu, Dayne is a graduate of Kapiolani’s Culinary
Institute of the Pacific in Culinary Arts & Patisserie Arts while also
holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Travel Industry Management from
the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
This talented young chef has had extensive culinary experience in Oahu
as a sushi chef at Moa Mua Tei, a sous chef at Baja Betty’s Southwest
Bar & Grill, and at Keoni’s located in the Outrigger.
Dayne has served as a tremendous asset to KPC and holds much promise and
potential. Dayne has a
passion for his work and commented, “Kamuela Provision Company serves
as a learning experience for the entire KPC team. Instead of it being just
a job, we teach each other and discover new capabilities. This is what makes
being a chef exciting, educational and entertaining."
