Golf Course
There are two championship golf courses at the Waikoloa Beach Resort. Both designed by leading names in today's golf world. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, you'll find the challenge exhilarating and the scenery breathtaking.

The scenic splendor of the Kohala Coast borders the spectacular Waikoloa Beach Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. , and the majestic extinct volcanoes is the dramatic backdrop for the famed Waikoloa Kings' Course, a Tom Weiskopf/Jay Morrish design. Set amid the lava fields and adjacent to the ocean, the Waikoloa courses offer fabulous golf for all skill levels, and are among the very best in Hawaii.

The Waikoloa Beach course's signature 12th hole has a larger than average water hazard. This dogleg par 5 is more than just a challenge for golfers; it doubles as a perfect vantage point for whale watching during winter months. Keep your eye on the ball!

Hone your skills at the instructional golf clinic at the Kings’ Course Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. and Friday from 4 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Visit the Waikoloa Beach Resort golf website or call 1-877-WAIKOLOA to book tee times or for more information.

Putting Course
The Seaside Putting Course is closed through September 24, 2008, due to the production set of Wheel of Fortune. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The 30,000 square foot Seaside Putting Course was designed by renowned golf architect Robin Nelson of Nelson and Haworth. Challenging putting greens are interspersed with sand traps and water features. Building on the award-winning landscape design in place at Hilton Waikoloa Village®, the course has been planted with species indigenous to Hawaii's Big Island. Signage along the course offers an informative, self-guided botanical tour of some of these many interesting plant species. The beautiful pond on the course includes unique rock features and small waterfalls as well as flourishing rainbow-colored lilies and brightly colored koi (carp).

The course is open to the public from 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., with the last round at 4:30 p.m. daily, except Thursdays, and on Thursdays from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., with the last round at 5 p.m. Play includes putter, golf balls, scorecards and ball markers. Groups will find this area particularly attractive for sunset receptions and team-building golf events for all attendees, whether golfers or not.
